Sports injuries

Sports injuries

Sports injuries are not limited only to professional athletes. A busy daily life, lack of proper warm-up, or even a simple injury during physical activity can cause significant musculoskeletal problems. Such injuries include damage to muscles, tendons, joints, and bones, such as meniscus or cruciate ligament tears, tendinopathies, sprains, strains, and dislocations. If not treated promptly and properly, they can affect functionality, mobility, and ultimately the individual’s quality of life.

We Are Here With Modern Solutions

Specialized orthopedic care with respect for the patient.
Our goal: restoring movement and improving quality of life.

Sports injuries

They often occur in athletes and adults due to poor warm-up, overexertion, or accidents. They include sprains, strains, cruciate or meniscus tears, tendinitis, dislocations, and injuries to the shoulder, knee, or ankle.

Cruciate ligament & meniscus tear

They are treated with modern arthroscopic techniques aimed at stability, restoring functionality, and preventing future complications.

Achilles Tendinopathy

In the past, treatment options were limited due to a poor understanding of the cause. However, recent research has opened up new treatment possibilities.

Multiligament Injuries

When a joint is subjected to significant force or trauma, multiple ligaments can be affected simultaneously. After assessing the severity of your injury, a care plan will be developed, which may include surgical or non-surgical treatment options.

Rotator Cuff Tear

A rotator cuff tear can occur either suddenly from an injury or gradually due to degenerative changes over time.

Articular Cartilage Injuries

Articular cartilage is the smooth tissue that covers the surfaces of bones in the joints, allowingsmooth, friction-free movement. When this cartilage is damaged, joint movements become painful and restricted.

Acromioclavicular Injury

The acromioclavicular joint is a common injury site, especially for athletes participating in contact sports as well as throwing sports such as shot put. The acromioclavicular joint is part of the shoulder structure.

The joint is surrounded by an articular capsule and further supported by the acromioclavicular and coracoclavicular ligaments (the coracoclavicular ligament consists of the trapezoid and conoid ligaments). These ligaments are usually the ones injured in the most common acromioclavicular joint injuries.
